Tele Sales Executive

Department: Sales
Reporting to: Sales Manager / Team Lead

Job Purpose

To proactively contact potential and existing customers via telephone to promote and sell the company’s products or services, achieve sales targets, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to prospective customers from provided leads.
  • Present and promote products/services using solid arguments to prospective customers.
  • Handle inbound sales inquiries and convert them into successful sales.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements, and recommend suitable products or services.
  • Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information in the CRM system.
  • Follow up on leads and maintain regular contact with customers to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Resolve customer complaints or concerns professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with the marketing and field sales teams to align goals and share customer feedback.
  • Data mining and scraping to build a solid telesales funnel.
  • Generating qualified leads and engaging prospects not only via calls but also through follow-up emails and connecting messages.
  • Exhibiting strong follow-up discipline to drive conversion.

Requirements:

  • Having hands-on experience in ERP, HRMS, and CRM products, with a strong preference for candidates from the IT or enterprise software industry.
  • Proven experience as a tele sales representative or other sales/customer service role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities.
  • Ability to learn about products and services and explain them to prospects.
  • Good computer skills and familiarity with CRM software.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • High school diploma; a degree in sales, marketing, or related field is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Fluency in English (and any additional local languages as required).
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude and ability to handle rejection.
  • Prior experience in B2B or B2C telesales is advantageous.
