Job Purpose
The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns to drive engagement, conversions, and brand awareness. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and data analysis to ensure campaigns meet business objectives and KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement email marketing campaigns from conception through to execution.
- Create email templates, including promotional, transactional, and lifecycle emails.
- Segment email lists based on behavior, demographics, and other factors to improve targeting.
- A/B test subject lines, content, and call-to-action buttons to optimize campaign performance.
- Analyze email campaign performance and provide insights and recommendations for improvements.
- Monitor and maintain email marketing metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
- Ensure compliance with email regulations such as GDPR and CAN-SPAM.
- Integrate email campaigns with other marketing efforts (e.g., social media, content marketing).
- Work closely with the design team to ensure email content is visually appealing and aligned with the brand.
- Stay updated on email marketing best practices, trends, and tools to ensure effective strategies.
- Coordinate with other marketing teams to ensure the accuracy of messaging and the alignment of email campaigns with broader marketing goals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Email Marketing Specialist or similar role.
- Proficient with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Constant Contact).
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, including segmentation, personalization, and deliverability.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email template design.
- Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, email platform reporting) to track campaign performance.
- Strong written communication skills with attention to detail.
- A creative and innovative mindset is needed to develop engaging email content.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret email campaign data and derive actionable insights.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Be well-versed with AI-powered tools for data mining, scraping, and building high-quality contact funnels.
- Possesses deep knowledge of email marketing within the IT industry, especially for ERP and HRMS products.
- Be capable of strategy execution, analytics tracking, and campaign optimization to generate real business leads.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of CRM tools and their integration with email marketing.
- Experience with dynamic content and personalization strategies.
- Basic graphic design skills (using tools like Adobe Photoshop or Canva).
- Understanding of SEO and how it applies to email marketing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
